AWR Designs - Custom Handmade Jewelry
Hi, welcome to my website, AWR Designs! I discovered jewelry-making several years ago when I joined a beading/jewelry kit-of-the-month club. For my wedding in January 2011, I decided to save money by designing and creating necklaces, bracelets, and earrings for all of my bridesmaids and flower girls. They actually turned out very nice and I started receiving bridal jewelry requests from friends and co-workers. After hearing friends, family, and co-workers suggest that I sell my jewelry, I opened up an Etsy shop and sold 3 barrettes over a period of 6 months. But I didn't give up - I did a lot of reading and online research on marketing and selling jewelry, and now I have a Facebook page, a blog, Twitter, Flickr, and Pinterest accounts, among others, and this website! My business has taken off, especially since the start of 2012! Wow, I never thought I would make it this far! But I love it... every aspect of my jewelry business. I absolutely LOVE designing and creating jewelry and would love to create something special for you!
